How to comment and Photos from Angkor Wat

I have heard it is hard to comment on this blog from several readers. All bloggers love getting comments, Anika says its a sign of a successful blog. Please send comments to my email address, lysat@cruzio.com.  I can post them here if you like. Either way I can hear what you think. Or now we have a post office address for the next month or so. We will be able to pickup mail until Oct 15. You can write a regular old fashioned letter or card to me and send it to:

  2. Great photographs! I do find posting a comment difficult from my iPhone. However, posting is not too difficult from my laptop.

The photographs of Buddha and carvings in the window with Anika remind me of Nepal, and my trip in 2003. I found the integration of art into everyday life in Asia enriching. We separate art, life, culture and religion in the US, and I find the delineation makes our everyday life more utilitarian in appearance.

I just returned from our trip to Greece. I found Athens somewhat similar to Bangkok in its hustle, traffic, and overall city feel. We had a great visit with Mechthild, and loved the Acropolis, and went on a magnificent visit to Delphi.

I also struggled to tolerate the heat in Athens; the Cyclades Island weather suited me better. I experienced some minor, but irritating, health problems due to the heat. Mayne is still in Greece, and off on a few more interesting adventures.

Keep up the great posts. Thanks,
    Janel
